We just got back from our 5 days trip to Srilanka which was undoubtedly the best experience we have had. This trip will always be remembered and cherished.
We were greeted at the Airport by our guide, Sunil, with a big smile on his face. He is so far the best guide we have met. He’s full of knowledge and always has answers to our questions. He made sure he fulfilled all our wishes, may it be our sudden urge to drink tender coconut water in the middle of the night or to go to some other place which was not the part of itinerary.
The country really has so much to offer – breathtaking nature, amazing beaches, beautiful wildlife, interesting historical and religious places, tasty food, good choice of accommodation to suit all budgets.
We visited most of the important places in Srilanka- Elephant orphanage, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ravana Falls, Ravana caves, white river rafting, Bentota Beach, water sports, Colombo city tour. We had to leave this beautiful country with a heavy heart. We wish we stayed longer.
