Itinerary

Your Pathway to Unforgettable Experiences

 

Day 1: Arrive Cochin

Upon your arrival at Cochin airport or railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later in the day, you will explore St. Francis Church, the oldest church in India, observe the iconic cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, visit the 16th-century Synagogue, wander through Jew Town, and tour the historic Mattancherry Palace. This palace, originally built by the Portuguese, is adorned with some of India’s most exquisite murals. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Cochin.

Day 2: Arrive Cochin – Munnar (Approx 129 Kms / 4 Hrs)

This morning, following breakfast, embark on your journey to Munnar, which is renowned as one of the most picturesque tourist destinations in Kerala. Nestled at an altitude of 6000 feet, Munnar was a favored summer retreat for the British colonial rulers. It is characterized by endless stretches of lush tea plantations, unspoiled valleys and mountains, unique varieties of flora and fauna in its wildlife sanctuaries and forests, and the invigorating scent of spice-laden cool air. Munnar offers all this and much more. On your way to Munnar, make sure to stop and explore the Cheyyappara and Valara waterfalls, as well as the Karadipara View Point. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to spend at your leisure. You will spend the night at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 3: Munnar City Tour

Today, you can enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour amidst the romantic hills of Munnar. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, where you can observe the unique and rare wildlife species that inhabit the jungle. Next, journey to the Mattupetty Dam, situated at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level, for a picturesque experience. Later, make your way to Echo Point, aptly named for the way it echoes your words back to you, adding to the serene atmosphere. Your next stop will be the Tea Museum, a fascinating place that provides insights into the tea processing industry. With numerous photographs and displays of machinery, it’s a must-visit for tea enthusiasts and curious minds (please note it’s closed on Mondays). In the evening, take a tranquil walk to immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty of nature. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (Approx 99 Kms / 3.5 Hrs)

This morning, embark on a drive to Thekkady, renowned for its wildlife sanctuary and the wide array of spices cultivated in the region. Along the way, you have the option to visit a spice plantation. Afterward, you will check in at the hotel. Your overnight accommodation will be at the hotel in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady

Today you can Visit Thekkady Wildlife Sanctuary (entry charges extra payment on your own) and Nearby Spice Plantation also you can do some shopping like Spice Materials. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Thekkady. 

Day 6: Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx 124 kms / 4 Hrs)

Today, following breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Kumarakom. Upon your arrival, you will check in at the hotel. You will have the opportunity to visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kumarakom.

Day 7: Kumarakom - Marari (Approx 27 kms / 1 Hrs)

Today, you will travel to Marari and complete your check-in at the hotel. In the evening, you can enjoy your time at the beach. Your overnight accommodation will be at the hotel in Marari.

Day 8: Depart Marari – Cochin (Approx 44 kms / 1.5 Hrs)

In the morning, you will be conveyed to Cochin airport or railway station to catch your flight or train for your journey back home or to your next destination.

  • Standard Check -in time 12:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs and Check -out time 10:00hrs - 12:00 hrs (Noon) as per the hotel policy.
