Greetings in Munich! Once you arrive at Munich Airport, you will be met by your car and transported to the hotel. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You will spend the night at the hotel in Munich.
Day 2: Munich - Hop on Hop off
Commence your initial day in the Bavarian capital with a Hop-on/Hop-off tour. Explore all the significant attractions in Munich while riding on a double-decker bus. Notable highlights on the tour include City Hall at Marienplatz, Karlsplatz featuring Stachus, the Opera House, and the BMW World. Additionally, the tour will take you by the Nymphenburg Palace, the Olympic Grounds, and the Siegestor near the English Garden. The complete tour has a duration of 2.5 hours, and naturally, the time you spend getting on and off at various points adds to the overall duration of the tour. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munich.
Day 3: Neuschwanstein & Linderhof
Journey through the picturesque German countryside as you make your way to the legendary grandeur of the German castles, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. These two remarkable structures, renowned for their intricate design and globally acclaimed architecture, were the visionary creations of Germany’s very own Ludwig II. Day 4: Munich - Salzburg
This morning, arrange for your private transfer to the train station. Once you board the train, relax and enjoy the two-and-a-half-hour journey to Salzburg. Upon your arrival at Salzburg Train Station, you will be greeted by your car and taken to the hotel. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to savor at your leisure. You will spend the night at the hotel in Salzburg.
Day 5: Salzburg
Embark on your exploration of the city associated with Mozart and the “Sound of Music” this morning. Immerse yourself in the city’s charm with a Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour, allowing you the freedom to set your own pace and alight at any of the designated stops. This tour offers the most comprehensive way to discover the city’s key landmarks. Ensure you visit attractions like Mirabell Palace, Mozart’s Residence, Trinity Church, Horse Pond, Festival Halls, Hellbrunn Palace, Palace of Frohnburg, Nonnberg Abbey, and Mozart Square. Wander through the charming streets of the Old Town and take a delightful break at one of the many cafes. Don’t forget to indulge in some delectable Mozartkugeln chocolate. Your overnight accommodation will be at the hotel in Salzburg.
Day 6: Salzburg - Vienna
This morning, make use of your private transfer to reach the train station. Hop on the train and relax as you embark on a three-hour journey to Vienna. Upon your arrival at Vienna Train Station, you will be met by your car and taken to the hotel. After checking in, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You’ll spend the night at the hotel in Vienna.
Day 7: Vienna
Commence your exploration of the capital city of Austria today. Discover Vienna at your own leisurely pace with a Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour, allowing you to embark and disembark at any of the 35 designated stops as frequently as you desire. Be sure to explore the shopping opportunities along the Graben in the Old Town. Additionally, don’t forget to experience one of the renowned Viennese cafes, where you can savor the authentic Sacher cake at Café Sacher and relish delicious cuisine at one of Vienna’s local bistros, known as “Beisl.” Your overnight accommodation will be at the hotel in Vienna.
Day 8: Vienna Woods
This tour serves as an ideal addition to your Vienna city trip. The half-day bus excursion guides you through the Vienna Woods to significant destinations, including the Mayerling memorial chapel, the Heiligenkreuz Abbey, and the Seegrotte Hinterbrühl, recognized as Europe’s largest underground lake. On this bus journey, you venture beyond Vienna into the southern expanse of the Vienna Woods, passing through the historical Roman spa town of Baden and traversing the picturesque Helen’s Valley. As you sit back in our comfortable coach, you’ll be treated to views of the beautiful landscapes along the route to Mayerling and Heiligenkreutz. The final stop on our bus tour is the Seegrotte Hinterbrühl, where you’ll encounter Europe’s largest underground lake. You’ll explore the mystically illuminated galleries by boat. Day 9: Depart Vienna
Bid farewell to Vienna and make use of your private transfer to reach Vienna Airport.
