Both Sikkim and Darjeeling are known for their serene beauty and offer a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Itinerary

Your Pathway to Unforgettable Experiences

 

Day 1: Arrive Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri – Darjeeling (Approx 75 Kms / 3 hrs)

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station, you will be transported to Darjeeling. Nestled in the Himalayas at an elevation of 2134 meters, ‘Dorje Ling,’ which means ‘place of the Thunderbolt,’ offers mesmerizing vistas of snow-clad mountain peaks, notably the towering Kanchendzonga. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills,” Darjeeling continues to enchant visitors with its charming waterfalls, quaint villages, and a picturesque narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by world-famous tea gardens and snow-capped mountains, Darjeeling remains a highly captivating destination. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel, and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Spend the night at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 2: Darjeeling

Today early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill. After Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate(from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 3: Darjeeling - Excursion to Mirik

Today, embark on a full-day excursion to Mirik Lake, a recently established hill station in West Bengal located 48 kilometers to the west of Darjeeling near the Nepal border. Mirik Lake offers the opportunity for boating on its 1.25-kilometer-long semi-artificial lake. The journey from Darjeeling to Mirik takes you through a natural forest and tea gardens. The primary tourist area, Krishna-Nagar, is situated to the south of the lake. A brief 10-minute stroll leads you to Bokar Gompa, which is the residence of Mahayana monks. For stunning sunrise and sunset views, make your way to Rameetay Dara. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 4: Depart Darjeeling – Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (Approx 75 Kms / 3 hrs)

This morning, you will be conveyed to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for your journey back home or to your onward destination.

Note:

  • Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked for.
  • Vehicles will be changed as per the transport regulations in the sector
  • Due to shortage in space for parking at most of the hotels the vehicle may be parked a little away from the entrance of the hotel (specially when your hotel is located in the main town areas).
  • Confrmation of Hotels, car hire and services are subject to availability.
  • All rates and availability are subject to change at the time of booking.
  • Rooms ofered will have one King or two Queen or Twin Beds and strictly subject to availability at the time of check in.
  • Room category in all packages is the Base Category.
  • Local sightseeing in Gangtok will be done using Non AC Maruti Vans for all categories of hotels as per the regulation of the local transport associations.
  • Innova seating capacity is 06 pax (including children)
  • Tata Sumo seating capacity is 08 pax (including children)
  • Vehicle will be given Point to Point as per itinerary & not on Disposal Basis
  • Package is not valid during High Season, Festive Period, Peak Period & Long Weekends
  • All sightseeing is subject to weather conditions, political conditions in the destination.
  • All the prices are for Indian Nationals only, unless specifed.
  • It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card (Passport / Driving License / Voter ID card) for security purpose & hotel policy.
  • Standard Check-in time 12:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs and Check-out time 10:00hrs - 12:00 hrs (Noon) as per the hotel policy
  • Nathula pass will be closed on every Monday & Tuesday
  • Compulsory Christmas & New Year Gala Dinner as applicable
