In the morning, embark on a voyage across the Cook Strait, a waterway that divides New Zealand’s North and South Islands, passing through the scenic Marlborough Sounds with its pristine waters and verdant woodlands, before reaching Picton. The morning offers free time for optional activities of your choice. In the afternoon, depart from Dunedin and journey inland, passing through the towns of Central Otago before reaching Queenstown in the early evening. You’ll spend the night at a Queenstown hotel.

Today, the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, with optional attractions available in Queenstown. This vibrant destination offers a range of activities like bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides, and many more. Travel to the Glacier Region by way of Lake Wanaka, passing through the historic Haast Pass, which serves as the entry point to the World Heritage-listed Westland National Park. Follow the route up the West Coast, taking in the awe-inspiring mountain ranges, native woodlands, and lakes, until you reach the glacier region encompassing Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers.
